We know that going to any new place can be an intimidating experience. We want your experience at Killam Baptist Church to be a pleasant one so here are some things you can expect at our Sunday service.
Morning Worship begins at 9:00 am in Forestburg or 10:55 am in Killam. Our Killam service is also live-streamed to our YouTube Channel if you wish to join us online.
When you come into our buildings, we encourage you to grab any seat, though we do reserve the last 3 rows of pews for families with young kids and visitors like yourself!
In Forestburg, we have a more traditional service where we sing hymns, read scripture, and hear from God’s word from one of our Pastors.
In Killam, we have a blended style of worship, mixing contemporary songs with traditional hymns, with elements of special dramas. Here too we read scripture and hear from God’s word brought to us by one of our Pastors.
During the service, we emphasize the importance of God’s Word and Prayer, spending time in each at different parts of each service.
After singing in Killam, children are dismissed to their own teaching time during the service called KidVenture, which is currently offered for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 6. We also have a nursery, equipped with a live stream of our service, available for those who have infants and are needing a quiet space.
After the morning service, we have a time of refreshments which gives us a chance to visit together as the family of God.
